The National Association of Extension 4-H Agents (NAE4-HA) is an internationally recognized, non-profit, non-partisan association of professional youth development educators. NAE4-HA is one of the largest professional associations for youth development workers with a diverse membership of nearly 3,600 youth development professionals.

For Executive Officers, Regional Directors and Committee Chair-Elects
Would you like to take a more active role in your association? Do you have leadership skills that you would like to put to the test? Then, you should consider running for office! The NAE4-HA Organizational Stewardship Committee is now accepting applications for executive officers, regional directors and committee chair-elects. For more information about each position and the election process, you can click here to view the Organizational Stewardship Handbook. To be considered by the Organizational Stewardship Committee, you will need to complete an application and include supporting materials in an electronic format NO LATER THAN May 1, 2014.

Nominations from the floor: besides the slate of candidates presented by the Organizational Stewardship Committee (OSC), other NAE4-HA members may be nominated from the floor at the summer NAE4-HA web-based business meeting. These individuals will be required to submit all required documents electronically such that they are received by the OSC chair no later than July 15. Failure to do so will constitute a withdrawal of the candidate’s eligibility to run for that given position. The DATE of the SUMMER meeting will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Time will be 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight time, and conducted via web.
Board Announces Recent Decisions
The NAE4-HA Board of Trustees recently converged in Minneapolis for its spring meeting. At the forefront of discussions were ways to continue to enhance members’ professional effectiveness, while remaining fiscally sound. As a result, the board approved a number of measures designed to strengthen NAE4-HA and enhance its capacity to serve.

2014 Annual Conference
Join us in Minneapolis October 26-30 for the 2014 Annual Conference. Early bird registration will open June 1. The conference hotel is the Hyatt Regency, which is located in downtown Minneapolis on the Nicollet Mall. All conference events, with the exception of Seminar on Wheels, will be held at the hotel.
